Brantley Gilbert shared a glimpse of himself rocking out to one of Kelsea Ballerini’s earliest No. 1 hits, declaring the heartfelt single “forever a banger.”

Gilbert posted the video of himself driving while singing along to Ballerini’s “Peter Pan,” one of the ballads that appeared on the East Tennessee-born singer-songwriter’s 12-track debut studio record in 2015. The album, The First Time, also included “Love Me Like You Mean It,” “Dibs,” “Yeah Boy” and more. Gilbert exclaimed while listening to “Peter Pan”: “Kelsea Ballerini with a banger! …Happy Friday!”

Ballerini shared Gilbert’s video on her Instagram story, and wrote in the comments, “well this just made my friday 🤍🤍🤍.” Some Instagram users replied “Peter Pan” will “always be a favorite,” and hoped for a future collaboration between Ballerini and Gilbert. TikTokers said “I blare this song all the time,” “glad I’m not the only one (singing) girl songs,” “artists supporting other artists is amazing,” and more. One of them also said “this is what I’m like listening to Tattoos,” Gilbert’s latest studio album.

Gilbert released Tattoos in September 2024. The 10-track project includes collaborations with Justin Moore, Ashley Cooke, Struggle Jennings and Demun Jones, and Gary LeVox. Gilbert has released bangers of his own since making his debut in music, including “Bottoms Up,” “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” “Country Must Be Country Wide,” “One Hell Of An Amen,” “The Weekend,” and more.
