Holy cow! Arwilda Whiteside is 98-years-old and her husband, Cleovis Whiteside, is 102-years-old. The long-time lovebirds are being honored as the longest-married couple in Arkansas, celebrating 84 years of marriage since their July 1939 wedding.
The couple from White Hall, Arkansas, met when she was 9 and he was 13 and were married when she was only 13 and he was 17!
Throughout their marriage, they raised 12 children and provided a safe haven for other local children in need.
Recognized as community pillars, the Whitesides emphasize the importance of faith, love, and generosity in a lasting marriage.
