America's past time... the game of baseball.... it can certainly be magical when it wants to be. That is especially true when a long-standing record is broken by a rookie.
Minnesota Twins rookie third baseman Royce Lewis has had an absolutely incredible couple of weeks. The young man has belted three grand slams in just eight games and now has a grand total of four of them in just 56 games in the big leagues.
That must be some kind of record, right?
Right!
It breaks a record that’s been on the books since 1938 when it took Rudy York 132 games to hit four grand slams.
