Back on March 29th, Ryan Roberts, a 45-year-old ceramics teacher in Honolulu, Hawaii, was headed home from another day at work when he spotted a woman in the road. The woman looked very panicked, so Roberts pulled over to help. He soon realized there was the woman as well as her 100-year-old mother, who was choking on a throat lozenge. That's when Roberts performed the Heimlich maneuver on her, and the maneuver saved her life.
Once he knew the woman was going to be okay, Roberts left the scene, but they were able to track him down because of his school t-shirt and later learned it was his FIFTH time saving a life using his first aid training.
