Talk about being in the right place at the right time—or the right end zone at the right time. A Bucs fan who found himself in possession of Tom Brady’s 600th touchdown ball, was given a king’s ransom for quickly returning the memento.
That Bucs fan, Byron Kennedy, is now set to make quite the return on his memorable exchange. It’s reported that Kennedy was gifted two autographed Tom Brady jerseys and an autographed Mike Evans jersey for parting with the ball. But that’s not all. The Bucs have nowgifted him season tickets for the rest of this season—as well as next season. But that’s STILL not all! On top of all the autographed merch and free tickets—Brady decided to hit Kennedy off with what you could call—a little scratch. While everyone from Jerry Jones to Tony Romo have weighed in on what Kennedy should’ve demanded for the prized possession—he was more than happy with what he got.
"I think it worked out pretty well,” Brady said when asked. “I am also giving him a Bitcoin, which is pretty cool too. At the end of the day, I still think he's making out pretty well.” Yeah well, Brady didn’t just gift him any Bitcoin. It’s reported that the Bitcoin in question was valued at more than $62,000.
