Boy With Cerebral Palsy Crawls To Parents' Room To Save Them

A seven-year-old Texas boy has become a hero after saving his entire family from a carbon monoxide leak in their house.

Michael Martinez has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair to get around, but when he woke up to a beeping sound in the middle of the night, he crawled to his parent’s room to let them know. Everyone else in Michael’s family was asleep, so they didn’t hear the noise.

And it’s a good thing he was so alert since that beeping turned out to be the carbon monoxide detector, which had found a leak coming out of their stove. Thanks to Michael, seven other family members were able to get outside safely.
