You’ve heard of lifting pens or something small from work, but a million bucks? From a supermarket? Yup. Authorities are accusing an Atlanta teen of stealing almost a million dollars from a Kroger.
Investigators say 19-year-old Tre Brown was able to steal 980-thousand dollars by completing over forty fake returns as an employee. The returns took place in just TWO MONTHS! Between December and January and ranged between 75 bucks to 87-thousand-dollars!
Brown has allegedly used the stolen money to buy guns, clothes...and two cars. He has been arrested and charged with theft. While they’re not saying how much, apparently a large amount of money has already been returned.
