A Virginia man has multiplied his fortune after buying more than 100 lottery tickets with the same exact numbers. Kwame Cross played 7-3-1-4 on 160 tickets and each of them won the top prize of $5-thousand, bringing his total winnings to $800-thousand.
"I saw an address in a TV show, in the background, and for some reason it stayed with me," Cross told Virginia Lottery officials about how he chose his winning numbers. "I just had a feeling."
The lucky guy says he was in line at a fast food drive-thru when he realized he would be getting a six-figure payout and that he had to pull over and check “like 82 times” to be sure. Cross says he has no plans for his new fortune yet, adding, “It feels surreal!”
