A man in North Attleborough, Massachusetts has decided to turn local potholes into Christmas tree planters.
Kevin Martin says he suffered four flat tires while driving to dinner on Route 1. His car had hit several potholes in the road that he had previously complained about to the local government. No action was ever made to repair them, so he went to a local Home Depot, purchased planting soil and small, real Christmas trees, and planted the trees in the potholes on his way to work Monday morning.
Kevin said he wanted to force officials into taking action to fill the potholes.
It apparently worked as the trees were removed and the potholes filled early this week.
