Austrian Josef Koeberl beat his own record (he's done this before?) for the longest full-body contact with ice cubes over the weekend.
This past Saturday, a Speedo-wearing Koeberl was able to stay 2 hours, 30 minutes and 57 seconds inside a glass box filled all the way up to his shoulders with ice cubes. That's more than 440 pounds of ice that filled up a custom-made glass box.
Obviously the freezing cold ice brought on what Koeberl called a “wave of pain," so he said he focused on positive emotions by "visualizing and drawing on positive emotions."
He beat the record he set last year by 30 minutes in front of a small crowd. Afterward, he celebrated the record by eating an ice cream... in his Speedos. Video below.
