Police in St. Louis report that a good Samaritan helped a young couple change their flat tire late at night. And then the devil on his shoulder turned him to the dark side, and he stole the driver's money and cell phone at gunpoint.
The couple told police that shortly after discovering they had a flat on their vehicle, a nice man stopped to help them. It was very late at night, about 11:15 p.m., but he offered to change their tire and they let him. Two other men with the "good Samaritan" watched quietly. But when the man who changed the tire asked for some money for his handy work, the 28-year-old victim pulled out his wallet and that's when the man pulled out a gun. The bad guys took the money and a phone and ran off.
No other details from SLPD were released. Thankfully, no one was injured.
