Arcade Is Renting Out Video Games During Coronavirus Lockdown

In Tampa, the owner of the video game arcade "Lowry Parcade" thought the coronavirus meant it was game over for his business. But then Robert Leonard had an idea that might just save his business.

He's now renting his arcade games to gamers stuck at home. Classic games like Mortal Kombat and Pac-Man start at $79 per week and $125 a week for pinball machines. Leonard told the NY Daily News, "We are actually scrambling to deliver our games for rental on a weekly or monthly bases. I have the best staff in the world and they have all been super helpful." He added, "Parents can rent these games and being with their kids a lot, especially during these times, can have that same experience that has been passed down from generation to generation."

And to take things to the next level, each game will have unlimited credit. Each game is completely sanitized before delivery, and he will deliver free to customers within a 5-mile radius of the arcade.
