Sam Hunt made us wait close to a year for new music after taking a hiatus following the major success of "Body Like A Back Road" which became the #1 song of the summer last year. A few weeks ago, Sam FINALLY released a new single, "Downtown's Dead" and rather than let that sit on the charts and work it's magic, the superstar is ready to drop another song!
During a performance at the Indianapolis 500 this past weekend, Sam Hunt debuted a slow ballad track called "Nothing Lasts Forever". You can hear the new song being performed at the Indy below.
When Sam made his comeback appearance on the Bobby Bones show, he did tease that this song would be in the works of being released. In the interview with Bobby, Sam shares this thought on "Nothing Lasts Forever",
"I've got another song that I'm going to put out here in a few weeks that is another step in the direction towards what will become something new from me in terms of a record. And maybe a new direction or step forward in evolving as an artist or writer". -Sam Hunt
There you have it fans! In the works for Sam Hunt could be this new song and a new album! Now we just need to get him to play a show in West Palm Beach!
