Florida City Double Shooting Streamed On Facebook Live Leaves One Dead

Florida City, FL - A deadly double shooting in Florida City unfolded during a Facebook Live broadcast, leaving one man dead and another hospitalized as authorities investigate what led to the violence.

According to the Miami Dade County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened early Tuesday morning in a residential area of Florida City.

Investigators said two adult men were shot after an argument escalated, and the incident was partially captured on a Facebook Live video being streamed at the time.

The video shows the moments before gunfire erupts, though law enforcement has not released the full footage publicly.

Deputies responding to the scene found one victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the location.

A second victim was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries and remains in medical care.

Authorities have not released the names of the victims as they continue to notify family members.

Investigators said the suspect allegedly fled the scene following the shooting.

As of the latest update, law enforcement has not publicly confirmed an arrest or released details from a suspect arrest report.
