If you're fortunate enough to have never gone through a hurricane then you may not know that the eye of the storm is actually the calmest part of the whole hurricane.
Teddy Jaison Rawlings of Callaway, FL actually stepped outside his home during Hurricane Michael to do a Facebook Live of what it's like to be inside the eye of the storm. His video truly shows that strange, uncomfortable, eerie feeling when everything is calm right before the extreme weather hits again.
Hurricane Michael is one of the strongest storms to hit Florida since Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Hurricane Michael hit as a Cat 4 hurricane just 2 mph below what could have been a Cat 5.
