The Bobby Bones Show checked in with Lunchbox for a medical update regarding his ongoing stomach pain and swollen testicle.
Lunchbox shared that he had a follow-up appointment scheduled with his urologist at 3:15 the other day, but earlier that day, around 12:15, the doctor’s office called to cancel because the doctor had an emergency and was not feeling well. When he asked to reschedule, he was told the next available appointment would be in mid-July. The show reacted with disbelief at the long delay, pointing out that patients who were canceled should be worked back into the schedule sooner. Bobby said the office should find a way to fit him in, even if it meant using small gaps in the schedule, especially given the urgency of his condition. Lunchbox pushed back on the phone, explaining that he was supposed to be seen that day, but the office still could not offer anything sooner. Frustrated, he questioned how the healthcare system could require him to wait several months for an appointment.
When asked about his current condition, Lunchbox said the swelling and pain come and go. He noted that the pain has not been as bad lately and that he has been attending physical therapy, which may be helping. He explained that the swelling tends to increase throughout the day and go down overnight. Lunchbox described his physical therapy sessions, saying he is typically the only man in a room full of women working on pelvic floor exercises, often related to pregnancy or postpartum recovery. He said many of the women are either about to have babies or recently had them and are working on strengthening those muscles.
The conversation then shifted when Eddie brought up a news article claiming that someone could donate one testicle for $35,000. Lunchbox expressed interest, saying he loves money, while Eddie suggested he could donate the swollen one. Lunchbox questioned what the testicle would be used for, while others joked about the idea. Bobby said the amount did not seem like enough money, while Eddie argued that since Lunchbox would still have one remaining, it could make sense, especially if he was done having children. The group debated the risks, with some calling it a bad and dangerous idea. The conversation escalated into a hypothetical scenario where Lunchbox could take the $35,000, go to Las Vegas, and bet it all on red at a roulette table.
