Amy Finally Solves the Mystery of Her Grandma’s “Stuffed Feet”

A while back on The Bobby Bones Show, Amy sparked one of the strangest conversations during a round of Easy Trivia. The question was simple: Which body part has the most bones?

Amy confidently guessed “foot,” and while it wasn’t correct, what she shared next had everyone floored. She explained that she remembered her grandma having all the bones removed from her foot years ago and that it might have even been “stuffed” afterward, possibly with tissues. The show quickly moved on, but listeners didn’t. Calls and messages poured in asking how it could even be possible to walk without bones in your foot. Amy admitted she may have misremembered the details from childhood but promised she’d check with her aunt, the only family member who might know the truth.

Now we finally have an update! Amy reached out to her aunt, since her grandma, mom, and uncle have all passed away. Her aunt cleared things up: Amy was actually thinking about her grandma’s toes, not her entire foot. Her grandma had undergone toe arthroplasty, a procedure where bones in the toes are removed to help with severe arthritis. Her toes had been so swollen and painful that surgery was the only solution. As for the idea of “stuffed feet”? Amy’s aunt confirmed that wasn’t the case. Amy now thinks her grandma may have jokingly said something about her feet being “stuffed,” and as a kid, she just took it literally.

Even so, the story left a lasting impression. Amy admitted she’s always been mindful about taking care of her bones, because in the back of her mind, she never wanted to end up with “stuffed feet” like she thought her grandma had.
