Cirque du Soleil's 'ECHO' Announces Highly Anticipated Return For January 2027

The magic of the Grand Chapiteau is officially returning to the South Florida skies. Cirque du Soleil has announced that its widely acclaimed, boundary-pushing touring production, ECHO, is heading to Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach for a limited run starting January 2027.

With regional buzz hitting a fever pitch, event coordinators confirmed that while regular box office seating is not yet open to the general public, the official Cirque du Soleil ECHO Ticket Presale and priority waitlist are officially live today, October 20, 2026. Eager fans are encouraged to register through the primary portal immediately to lock in early-bird pricing and preferred seating blocks before tickets are released to the general public.

Marking the entertainment group's newest big-top venture, ECHO steps away from cluttered stages to present a highly contemporary aesthetic. Directed by Mukhtar Omar Sharif Mukhtar, the show centers around a massive, two-story kinetic puzzle cube that rotates and interacts dynamically with the cast. The storyline introduces a young protagonist named Future and her dog, Ewai, as they navigate an extraordinary universe to explore themes of environmental stewardship, youthful optimism, and the interconnectedness between humanity and the animal kingdom.

"Cirque du Soleil ECHO is very streamlined, very modern, and very contemporary," noted Kevin Albert, Senior Tour Publicist for ECHO. "We really wanted to go to a simplistic way of telling a story. There are a lot less props... and the focus is on the artists themselves."

The 125-minute production (which includes a 25-minute intermission) features a global cast of 53 elite artists executing breathtaking physical disciplines. Audiences can expect rare, jaw-dropping acts such as duo hair-suspension, a dizzying Korean cradle, high-flying banquine routines, and intricate contortionism.
