Brett Eldredge decided to “do something crazy” if one of his songs went No. 1.
The country star marked his first No 1 single with “Don’t Ya,” which he released on his 12-track debut record, Bring You Back, in 2013. Eldredge recently caught up with Bobby Bones on an episode of The BobbyCast, telling stories behind each song as Bobby revealed his Top 10 ranking.
“I was like, ‘OK, I’m gonna do something crazy if this goes No. 1,’” Eldredge recalled. He opted to go skydiving. “I remember looking out the window when they opened it up, and I mean, there’s no feeling like that [looking out the door of the plane]. …I was so scared.”
Throughout the full episode, the pair shared “a wide-ranging conversation” about Eldredge’s life, including recently getting married.
