“It’s 90s Night y’all!”
Luke Bryan shared a few ‘90s throwback photos on Instagram on Monday afternoon (April 6), ahead of American Idol’s ‘90s Night theme. Bryan, who returned for another season as a judge with Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood, wrote in his caption, “We’re takin a trip back in time that y’all won’t want to miss.” Bryan jokingly followed up with another post, pointing out that “something doesn’t look right about these 90s album covers y’all.” His face appeared on covers for records by Tim McGraw, Brooks & Dunn, Joe Diffie and others. American Idol airs on ABC on Monday nights from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET/PT. It’s available to stream the next day on Hulu.
Bryan’s latest season on Idol arrives as he releases some new music and gets ready for a run of shows stretching into the fall. The five-time entertainer of the year will kick off his headlining “Word On The Street Tour” — named after one of his latest singles — with Drew Baldridge, Karley Scott Collins, Lanie Gardner, Randall King, Zach John King, Shane Profitt, RaeLynn, Lauren Watkins, Jake Worthington and DJ Rock on select dates. Bryan will also perform on his annual “Farm Tour,” which will return to the West Coast for the second consecutive year, and Alan Jackson’s star-studded, sold-out final show, “Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale.”
Bryan is part of the star-studded lineup of the 2026 iHeartCountry Festival. The show also includes Carly Pearce, Kane Brown, Parker McCollum, Riley Green, Shaboozey, Dylan Scott, Russell Dickerson, Gretchen Wilson, Chase Matthew, Lauren Alaina and special guest George Birge. iHeartRadio's Bobby Bones is returning as the event’s host. The show will take place on May 2 at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Tickets to the show are available as of January 23. Fans across the country will be able to catch all the action as the 2026 iHeartCountry Festival will be broadcast live across iHeartCountry stations nationwide and the free iHeartRadio app on Saturday, May 2nd at 8pm ET/5pm PT (7pm CT).
