Luke Combs shared a sneak peek of a soon-to-release ballad on Sunday (November 30).
Combs will debut “Giving Her Away” on Friday (December 5), he confirmed as he posted a rendition of the emotional song on Instagram. The confirmation arrives after the powerhouse singer-songwriter teased “Giving Her Away” on social media. The ballad serves as a heartfelt message from a groom to his bride’s father.
Most recently, Combs released The Prequel, a 3-track collection as he gets ready for his next chapter of music. So far, he’s released “My Kinda Saturday Night,” “15 Minutes” and “Days Like These.” He said when The Prequel arrived, “it’s crazy. I just feel like it’s the first time I put music out in quite some time, and I’m nervous about it. I’m nervous to see what you guys will think about it. I’m really confident in these songs that we’ve recorded and I know that you guys have been waiting for music for a long time. I’ve just been kind of doing as much as I can, raising the kids… It’s just wild. It’s just wild. Time flies, and it feels like I’ve been doing this forever and for six months at the same time, if that makes any sense.”
“My Kinda Saturday Night” also inspired the name of Combs’ 2026 headlining tour, which will include special guests Dierks Bentley, The Script, The Teskey Brothers, Thomas Rhett, Ty Myers, Jake Worthington, Thelma & James and The Castellows on select dates.
