George Straitās upcoming benefit to help those impacted by devastating Texas floods is officially sold out, the legendary country artist confirmed on Tuesday (July 15).Ā
āThank you to everyone who has inquired about and purchased tickets to our event to benefit those affected by the flood in Texasā reads an update from Straitās team shared on the singerās social media accounts. The update also includes a link to accept additional donations. Strait previously announced that donations will be distributed by 501c3 Vaqueros del Mar Texas Flood Relief Fund. The event, Strait To The Heart: A Benefit for Hill Country Flood Victims, sold out as of 10 a.m. CT.
āThe destruction and loss in our community from the recent floods is hard to wrap your head around,ā Strait said when he announced the benefit on July 11. āOur hearts and prayers are with you all. The goal with this event is to raise meaningful, immediate support that can be put directly into the hands of flood victims without delay, while also honoring the first responders that work tirelessly to save lives. Strait To The Heart: A Benefit for Hill Country Flood Victims will take place on Sunday, July 27 in Boerne, Texas.
