Carly Pearce covered one of the most iconic Dolly Parton songs of all time when she paid tribute to the beloved legend during a recent performance.

Earlier this year, Pearce took the stage at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. She covered ā€œJoleneā€ with a Parton-inspired microphone that was unveiled as part of the Grand Ole Opry’s 100th anniversary in 2025. A video shared on Ryman’s official Instagram and TikTok accounts on Tuesday (July 15) shows the moment Pearce ā€œpaid tribute to one of her greatest heroes with a beautiful performanceā€ of the 1970s classic.

Pearce has previously shared how Parton inspired her career in country music. The Kentucky-born hummingbird artist was 16 years old when she moved to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where she worked as a performer at Dollywood. She moved to Music City a few years later, and has since become known for ā€œEvery Little Thing,ā€ ā€œtruck on fire,ā€ ā€œWhat He Didn’t Do,ā€ ā€œNever Wanted To Be That Girlā€ with Ashley McBryde, ā€œwe don’t fight anymoreā€ with Chris Stapleton, and other singles throughout her career. Pearce also marked a full circle moment when Parton personally invited her to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2021. Watch Pearce pay tribute to Parton here:
