Carly Pearce covered one of the most iconic Dolly Parton songs of all time when she paid tribute to the beloved legend during a recent performance.
Earlier this year, Pearce took the stage at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. She covered āJoleneā with a Parton-inspired microphone that was unveiled as part of the Grand Ole Opryās 100th anniversary in 2025. A video shared on Rymanās official Instagram and TikTok accounts on Tuesday (July 15) shows the moment Pearce āpaid tribute to one of her greatest heroes with a beautiful performanceā of the 1970s classic.
Pearce has previously shared how Parton inspired her career in country music. The Kentucky-born hummingbird artist was 16 years old when she moved to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where she worked as a performer at Dollywood. She moved to Music City a few years later, and has since become known for āEvery Little Thing,ā ātruck on fire,ā āWhat He Didnāt Do,ā āNever Wanted To Be That Girlā with Ashley McBryde, āwe donāt fight anymoreā with Chris Stapleton, and other singles throughout her career. Pearce also marked a full circle moment when Parton personally invited her to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2021. Watch Pearce pay tribute to Parton here:
