Stocks plunging for a second straight day after President Trump announced global tariffs on almost every country. China retaliated with their own new tariffs and investors are worried the U.S. economy may be heading towards a recession. Intraday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down more than 2,000 points. The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq were down well over five percent at times Friday.
Yesterday, the Dow closed more than 16-hundred points lower.
