A reminder of a crash that killed three deputies in November is no more.

A nearly 40-foot section of a damaged guardrail has been replaced along Southern Boulevard near Lion Country Safari.

It was at the scene where a woman drove off the road at 65 miles per hour and into three Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies who were working traffic control on the shoulder.

A new piece of steel has now replaced the mangled section of the guardrail. Corporal Luis Paez, Deputy Ralph "Butch" Waller, and Deputy Ignacio "Dan" Diaz have all been laid to rest while the investigation continues.

Thus far, no charges have been filed against the driver.
