McDonald’s is getting into the spicy chicken business. Possibly in response to Popeye’s success with their spicy chicken sandwich, the fast food giant just announced they are introducing Spicy Chicken McNuggets to their menu nationwide starting September 16th.
The new McNuggets will feature a “sizzling tempura coating made of both cayenne and chili peppers.” And if they aren’t hot enough for you, McDonald’s is also introducing Mighty Hot Sauce, the first new dipping sauce 2017. The company is boasting the sauce as the hottest one available at Mickey D’s, made with “a powerful blend of crushed red peppers and spicy chilis.”
But if that all sounds too hot for you, McDonald’s has found a way to cool off your mouth . They are also adding a Chips Ahoy! McFlurry to the menu, featuring vanilla soft-serve, caramel topping and Chips Ahoy! cookie pieces. It will also be available on September 16th, in snack and regular sizes.
