There's Help For Bartenders Out Of Work

While scrolling through Twitter today, I noticed a casual tweet from the Indian River County EOC. It was a link for out of work bartenders to receive some assistance while their job has been closed.

It is called BEAP, which stands for Bartender Emergency Assistance Program. Their website states: The purpose of the Bartender Emergency Assistance Program is to assist those in the bar industry who are in need of assistance as a result of a catastrophic event or an emergency hardship. Fire, weather, medical, national crisis, or a family emergency, the BEAP is here to assist bartenders in their time of need.

They have recently received grants and donations from large alcohol companies to help sustain bartenders who are out of work due to emergency situations, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

There are certain eligibility requirements, so CLICK HERE for all the details.
