Beginning at 5:00 pm today, all bars and nightclubs withing the state of Florida have been ordered to be closed, at the direction of Governor Ron DeSantis.
In an effort to prevent the spread of coronavirus, nightclubs and bars will remain closed for the next 30 days. Restaurants have not been asked to closed, but have been asked by the Governor to limit capacity to only 50%. Additionally, by following CDC suggestions, restaurants have been asked to keep parties at least six feet apart.
The Governor also supports the closure of popular beaches across Florida due to overcrowding. Statewide, DeSantis is advising that any group together on a beach be limited to 10 people.
