NASCAR Has Postponed Season Until May

Monday afternoon, NASCAR officials announced the season had been officially postponed until the series visits Martinsville in May.

In a Twitter post, the sanctioning body announced plans to postpone all races between the Atlanta date last weekend through the weekend at Dover May 1-3. The series is schedule to pick up again with the STP 500 weekend under the lights at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia.

Additionally, NASCAR says missed all races will be made up, as the group does "intend to hold all 36 races this season."
