Florida Cop Helps Homeless Family Fly Home To Michigan

A family of six who were stuck in Florida are back home in Michigan, thanks to the help of some kind hearted cops. Miami-Dade Police officer Jose DeLeon noticed the mom, dad, and four kids at the Greyhound bus station near the Miami International Airport and they explained that they had recently been kicked out of their relatives South Florida Home. They told him they had no money for food, shelter, or tickets back to Michigan, so they were stranded there.

But when DeLeon heard their situation, he rallied some fellow officers to donate to help them out. He helped get them to the Chapman Project Homeless Center temporarily and collected enough money to buy them plane tickets back home to Michigan.
