Krispy Kreme Has A New Version Of Its Classic Glazed Donut

Some say there’s nothing better than an original glazed Krispy Kreme when it’s warm from the oven, but the doughnut chain is ready to challenge that with its new offering. In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing this summer, Krispy Kreme is tweaking it’s most popular doughnut with “a new state experience that’s out of this world.”

The result? Original glazed doughnuts filled with chocolate or classic Kreme filling. So they look just like a regular glazed doughnut with a hole in the center, but inside, it’s got chocolate or vanilla filling.

These newbies have landed a spot on the permanent menu as of this week. But the best part? We can all snag one for free this Saturday, June 22nd. Just stop by a Krispy Kreme and they’ll give you one of the new filled doughnuts, your choice of chocolate or classic Kreme.
