An off-duty firefighter from North London, Nyma Zadeh, showed remarkable kindness by driving over an hour to return a lost purse to its owner. Hertfordshire resident Georgia had been distressed over losing her purse, which she’d misplaced after her company's Christmas party. She was deeply relieved when Zadeh showed up at her door to return the bag.
At first, he considered returning the purse to its owner the next morning, but remembering how upset his ex-girlfriend had been when she’d lost her bag once, he decided to deliver it right away. He couldn’t have known how much that would mean to Georgia, who says she’d been crying over the loss when Zadeh arrived at her door.
Georgia posted her doorbell camera footage of the kind act to her TikTok, where it’s been viewed over a million times. On multiple occasions, she offers a cash reward to Zadeh for bringing her purse all the way to her home, but he won’t consider it. “Just pay it forward,” the kind firefighter says, “Do something nice for the next person.”
