My Trip To The 2022 Daytona 500

I got to visit Daytona Sunday and enjoy my first Daytona 500 in 20 years! Back in 2002, I took a cute girl who wound up marrying me. Twenty years later, I got to go again, but this time she stayed home and our boys went!

My first race was the 1985 Daytona 500, won by Bill Elliott. Now his son is the sport's most popular driver. Crazy how time flies. Bill won my first race... now his son is the top dog as I take my sons to races. Crazy.

Anyway, take a look at some pictures from the beautiful day... which was a carbon copy of that day in 2002 when my future wife and I attended the Daytona 500.

It was a gorgeous day for the 64th Annual Daytona 500.
