Officer Buys Family Car Seat Instead Of Giving Ticket

A South Carolina cop is being recognized for his act of kindness for a family in need. Officer Corey Adams with the Simpsonville Police Department got a call about someone driving around with a child not in a car seat and when he pulled them over, he found a two-year-old in the car without a car seat.

Officer Adams could have written the driver a ticket, but instead, he went above and beyond to help them. He went out and bought a car seat for the child with his own money. Another officer helped him install the car seat for the family.

The motto at the Simpsonville Police Department is “making a difference,” and that’s exactly what Officer Adams did for them.
