A terrified French woman returned to her apartment after spending the last three months in quarantine at her boyfriend's place. When she finally returned home, she found that a bag of mutant potatoes had invaded her kitchen.
Donna Porée discovered the alien-like potatoes with its 3-foot tentacles spread all over her kitchen. She had apparently bought the bag of potatoes from a supermarket in March with the intention of cooking them for dinner but the lockdown happened and she simply left the bag and her apartment.
When she finally returned she was horrified to find the bag had grown tentacles and spread itself across her small 236 sq. feet apartment. She spent hours removing the runaway plant and shared photos online. Those photos have gone viral. She says she will eat potatoes again though.
