A Colorado woman’s dog is helping her neighbor stay safe during the coronavirus by delivering groceries to her. Karen Evelth sends her golden retriever, Sundance, over to help Renee Hellman, who is 65 and has COPD, which puts her at higher risk of severe illness from coronavirus.
Sundance gots to Hellman’s house, picks up her grocery list, and brings it back to Evelth. She shops so her neighbor doesn’t have to and then Sundance returns a few hours later carrying bags with the items Hellman needs in her mouth.
“She is so happy and grateful to see him every day at her porch,” said Evelth. “Smiling ear to ear every time.”
