Toys R Us Could Reopen, Company Cancels Bankruptcy Hearing

Who ever said there was no such thing as second chances?

Toys R Us may be getting their second chance after news broke that the beloved company canceled their bankruptcy auction. Although the company had received qualifying bids for assets such as the name and Geoffrey the Giraffe, they decided not to pursue them.

The auction was cancelled with the intention of creating a new Toys R Us/Babies R Us Branding Company!

According to CBS News, the company intends to

"create a company that maintains existing global license agreements and can invest in and create new, domestic, retail, operating businesses under the Toys R Us and Babies R Us names."

Although, there is no other information in regards to this or a timeline on the comeback, it is very possible that we can all be Toys R Us kids once again.
