Even Governor Rick Scott knows this and has announced that the next two weekends are license-free fishing weekends! For a lot of us in Florida, we loooooove to fish, but hardly have the time to go. We probably don't even consider purchasing a fishing license anymore because it's not cost-effective.
However, that's all going to change these next two weekends! Grab the kiddos and get outdoors because these are license-free fishing weekends.
June 2nd and 3rd it is free to go saltwater fishing. Then next weekend, June 9th and 10th, it is free to go freshwater fishing. This applies to all Florida residents and visitors.
