Trump Adding $1.6 Billion To NASA's Budget

President Trump wants the U.S to return to space in a BIG WAY! According to a tweet, he will be adding $1.6 billion to NASA's budget to help fund space research and travel.

"Under my Administration, we are restoring @NASA to greatness and we are going back to the Moon, then Mars. I am updating my budget to include an additional $1.6 billion so that we can return to Space in a BIG WAY!"

NASA hopes to have astronauts return to the moon by 2024. They announced on Monday their lunar return program called "Artemis", named after Apollo's twin sister. Apollo was the name of the last venture to the moon made by NASA.

ARTEMIS: Twin sister of Apollo and goddess of the Moon. Now, the name for our #Moon2024 mission to return @NASA_Astronauts to the surface of the Moon by 2024, including the first woman and next man.
