Earlier this year, a guy named Scott Snyder from Michigan played the Michigan Lottery’s Lucky For Life game. He decided he would play it EVERY SINGLE DAY and use the same numbers. "I started playing this special set of numbers in February,” Snyder explains. “And I have played them every day since."
Well, ol' Scott’s persistence paid off when his numbers matched with the August 7th drawing and he won the games second largest prize which happens to be $25-thousand a year for life. "I was checking some tickets at the store and got a message to visit a lottery office when I scanned one of them,” he recalls. “When I realized that I was the big winner, I tried not to get too excited at first because it didn't seem real. I'm still having a hard time believing this is real."
Snyder has chosen to receive his winnings as a lump sum or $390-thousand. The 55-year-old says he plans to use the money to put toward buying a new home.
So the big question... does he shift to a new set of number moving forward??
