The steps to planning a robbery? Look the business over, check out security, choose the right time of day to try to get away. Thieves in Tennessee have another item to add to that list; make sure you can fit what you’re stealing through the door.
At 3:00am last Friday, five would-be thieves broke into a Harley-Davidson dealership, ramming one of the bikes on display repeatedly into the door to break it.
Three of the thieves escaped on bikes, while the other two managed to get their bikes stuck in the door trying to get them out.
Authorities say that closed circuit video shows the two running away shortly after, leaving the bikes in the door.
Certainly not the best-executed crime in history.
