An arrest has been made in the cyberattacks that wreaked havoc on Miami-Dade's online school platform, which is preventing parents and teachers from logging in.
Miami-Dade School Police detectives say 16-year-old David Oliveros, a junior at South Miami Senior High is responsible. And while he reportedly admitted to orchestrating eight of the cyberattacks, he wasn’t alone.
Officials say other attacks were tracked to Russia, China, Ukraine, Iraq, and possibly others. What!?!?
The superintendent said all data center systems are now working at full capacity with no interference.
