Look! There it is... the world's most expensive peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It's on the menu at a place called Pizza Beer and Jukebox which is on Chicago's West Loop. The place calls it the Golden Goose and you have to order it a day in advance.
It features Maison Dutriez's Red Currant Jam, which is billed as the "World's Most Expensive Jelly," and is hand seeded using goose quills (whatever that means). There's also a generous spread of Adams all-natural peanut butter, toasted edible gold leaf bread, and a little bit of New Zealand Manuka Honey.
Owner, Matthew McCahill said, "The inspiration actually comes from when I was a child and we grew up very poor and we were eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and then just peanut butter sandwiches, and then just peanut butter."
And then there's the price: $350.
