A hairstylist at a Denver barbershop received a huge tip from an anonymous man who wanted to help out during the coronavirus crisis. Ilisia Novotny was finishing up for the day at Floyd’s 99 Barbershop when a guy came in and asked if she could squeeze him in. Knowing how desperate people are for a haircut right now, she agreed.
He asked about how she and other hairstylists were getting by since it was the first day the barbershop had been allowed to reopen. And when he gave her the receipt for the haircut, he told her, “Just so you know, the tip is not a mistake.” When Novotny checked it, she found out he left her a $25-hundred tip on a $27 haircut!
But this guy’s generosity didn’t stop there. He also gave the shop’s receptionist $500 and $1,000 to the general manager and asked how many people work at the shop. He then left an additional $18-hundred - $100 each for the shop’s other 18 employees!
