Fairs and festivals may not be happening because of coronavirus, but in Ohio, you can still get your favorite fair foods. Stark County usually hosts its annual fair in August, but had to cancel this year’s event, so they got creative and found another way to bring people the thing they care about most: deep-fried food on sticks.
Stark County is now having a drive-thru fair, so fans can get the experience while maintaining safe social distancing and following all state mandates. Visitors can drive their cars to the fairgrounds and order from several food vendors set up on the grounds and there’s even a menu posted on Facebook so they can decide what they want before they go. The list of options includes fair favorites like french fries, kettle corn and funnel cakes, along with those beloved stick-foods, like fried cheese on a stick and corn dogs.
