The Sheriff’s Office of Pasco County was on the lookout for a missing firearm. Yes, you heard that right. A detective was visiting a local Burger King, when he stopped in the bathroom to do his business…and left his gun behind in the process. When he realized it, he went back – and it was already gone. Thanks to CCTV in the area (see below), they at least have a face to look for, but are conducting an internal investigation in the meantime. Source: TampaBay.com

49-year-old David Haney was seen leaving the BK and was thought to have been the one who stole the gun. He was arrested, though he did not have the firearm on him. Thankfully, the missing gun has been located in the woods!
