Coronavirus: Palm Beach County & Treasure Coast Cancellations

Here's a county-by-county look at cancellations due to coronavirus:

Palm Beach County:

  • III Forks Steakhouse will be closed to all customers, including any take-out or delivery options, until further notice.
  • The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens will be closed until further notice.
  • The Palm Beach Symphony has canceled all concerts, social events, education programs, and community outreach until May 31.
  • Fulton-Holland Educational Services Center to close on Monday, March 23. All services offered at the building, including fingerprinting, student records, human resources, Choice and Career Options, VPK will not be open to visitors. The number of staff working in the building will be limited.
  • All non-essential businesses in the Town of Palm Beach are closed, effective immediately, including restaurants, bars, taverns, pubs, nightclubs, banquet halls, cocktail lounges, cabarets, breweries, cafeterias, movie theaters, concert houses, auditoriums, playhouses, bowling alleys, arcades, gymnasiums, fitness studios and beaches. Businesses that are considered and essential and will remain open are grocery stores, gas stations, day care facilities and pet supply stores.
  • All parks, beaches, beach parking, recreational facilities, as well as non-essential retail and commercial establishments in Delray Beach are closed, effective immediately until March 31. Medical facilities, doctors' offices and pharmacies will remain open.
  • Boca Regional Medical Center closed to visitors with exceptions for patients in maternity, pediatric, and special needs care-one healthy visitor per patient allowed.
  • Constitutional Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon announced all tax collector service centers will be closed Friday, March 20 and Monday, March 23. Employees will report to work on Monday, Mar. 23 for additional training while the service centers are closed. Beginning Tuesday, Mar. 24, the Tax Collector’s Office will reopen to serve the public online, by mail, email and phone. All in-person service will be suspended until further notice.
  • Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is closing to all visitors, beginning Thursday, March 19 at 3 p.m. until further notice.
  • The Mandel Public Library will close on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. The library will remain closed until further notice.
  • Tri-Rail Ride and Play on April 18.
  • The touring African Children's Choir and their hosts, the Music for Life organization has decided to cancel their West Palm Beach concert.
  • All Palm Beach County schools are cancelled until April 15
  • Ann Norton Museum and Gardens will close indoor facilities. Gardens will remain open on the weekend. The last of the Jazz in the Gardens Series will still take place as scheduled this Sunday between 1-3 pm. All remaining programs for the season have been postponed until further notice.
  • Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County
  • Broward Center for the Performing Arts pauses all performances through April 12.
  • Palm Beach State College cancels all classes, including online, through Mar. 23.
  • Boynton Beach Senior Center closed until further notice
  • All special events in the Village of Tequesta canceled until further notice
  • Delray Beach Home Tour postponed until the fall/winter 2020
  • All Abacoa events canceled through Mar. 21. This includes the following events:
  • Food truck invasion on March 13
  • Macy Gray concert on March 14
  • The Children's Festival on March 15
  • The St Patrick's Day block party on March 17
  • All Abacoa Happy Hour
  • The Across the Universe: Beatles tribute concert on Mar. 21
  • Kravis Center closing through March 30
  • Oxbridge Academy closing on Sunday, Mar. 15, will reopen no earlier than April 6

Martin County:

  • All beaches will be closed starting Monday.
  • The Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast announces they will limit operating hours in light of community concerns over the coronavirus. Beginning Monday, March 16th, the Museum will operate on the following schedule until further notice: 10am-12:30pm Play Session, 12:30pm-1:30pm CLOSED FOR CLEANING, 1:30pm-4:00pm Play Session. The Museum will require all Visitors and Campers to sanitize their hands upon entry, and Museum staff & volunteers will be continuously cleaning through the Play Sessions.
  • All classes at Martin County schools
  • The Boys and Girls Club of Martin County will close through March 27.

St Lucie County:

  • All beaches in the county will close Monday, March 23.
  • St. Lucie County Tax Collector closing early on Friday, Mar. 13
  • Fire station open houses with St. Lucie County Fire District until further notice
  • All classes at St. Lucie County schools
  • All large-scale special events and all performances at the Sunrise Theatre for the Performing Arts and Black Box have been postponed or canceled through April 3.

Indian River County:

  • All beaches in Indian River County beaches are closing Monday.
  • Vero Beach Air Show has been PPD
  • Teacher job fair on March 13 and School Choice Expo on Mar. 14
  • Indian River County Firefighters Fair
  • Oceanside Business Association Farmers Market on Mar. 14
  • Sunset Saturday on Mar. 14
  • Pickleball Tournament from Mar. 15 to Mar. 17

Okeechobee County:

  • All classes at Okeechobee County schools until Monday, Mar. 30
  • Torch Run and BBQ (postponed)
