Don't underestimate scratch offs! A South Florida man went home $500,000 richer today after winning BIG on a scratch off ticket. 28-year old, Deandre Brown, purchased a $5 ticket from the Stop Shop Save & Go in Riviera Beach. That little bit of money he spent ended up leading to his lucky day!
The Florida Lottery says scratch offs are an important part of their portfolio of games. Ultimately, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
