Yesterday, we brought you this crazy video of a passenger jumping off a cruise ship deck while his buddies filmed the fall. Today, we learn that the passenger that attempted the stunt has been banned from Royal Caribbean for life.
27-year old, Nick Naydev, starred in a viral video when he jumped from the 11th deck of the cruise he was out on. Nick was out in the Bahamas on the Symphony of the Seas, one of the world's largest cruise ships, when he jumped. Thankfully, he was not hurt and a small boat brought him safely to shore.
However, Royal Caribbean does not find this video amusing in the slightest. According to a statement from the cruise ship company,
"This was stupid and reckless behavior and he and his companions have been banned from ever sailing with us again. We are exploring legal action."
According to USA Today, more than a dozen passengers die each year in jumps and falls from cruise ship decks.
So this begs the question we're all wondering. Nick, was it worth it?
