Surveillance video below shows a woman making her way through the Macy's Department Store at the Paddock Mall in Ocala, FL before allegedly starting a fire in the lingerie department.
Ocala Police are asking for help in identifying the suspect who got away before police could question her. They believe she did set fire to the rack of underwear and may have attempted to start fires elsewhere in the store after walking around for approx 45 minutes.
“The [Macy’s] staff believe that they smelled gas, so we’re not sure if she tried to set the fire to other area and this was just the only area where she was successful. She was in the store for some time.”

The store remained closed for the rest of the day on Tuesday for the safety of the shoppers and employees. Police ask anyone with information to call 352-369-7000.
